About me

My working life is divided between painting, and my job working for NHS Gloucestershire, where my role includes developing the use of art to improve health and well being. In the late 1980’s I worked as a dressmaker in Bristol, where I also completed an HND in fashion and pattern cutting. In the early 1990’s I worked in mental health in the third sector in Bristol, before moving to Gloucestershire with my husband, where I had two children. I currently help to co-ordinate an arts and health project called Art Lift.
I have shown and sold work during the Stroud Site festivals Open Studios since 2008, as well as three solo exhibitions at the Space, Kendrick St Gallery and Prema Arts Centre.
